Since arriving in the United States in 1982, Itoko has illustrated over twenty-five children's picture books with her enchanting, softly classic watercolors. Her versatile skills and attention to detail have included a wide range of subjects from amazingly accurate architectural drawings, maps and dramatic scenes to the creation of charming storybook characters, flowers and landscapes. Available for school visits, Itoko offers hands-on, age appropriate classroom presentations about the art of illustration.
